This policy sets out how and when Alliance Group Ltd, trading as Alliance Meats (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information.

We may modify or amend this policy at any time and for any reason. By using this site you consent to our handling of your personal information in accordance with this policy (as amended from time to time).

Collection
We may collect personal information about you:

1. When you provide information to us directly, for example, by signing up online or in store or entering a competition or promotion.
2. Through your use of this site and the services and functionality offered through it.

Consent
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

1. Returns Policy and Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

Alliance Meats upholds the highest standard of quality with every purchase. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee means you can purchase our meat with confidence. Alliance Meats prides itself on personal service and premium cuts from our renowned suppliers of export quality meat.

If you are not happy with any product you receive from Alliance Meats please contact us and we will endeavour to remedy any concerns you have. This may result in replacement of the product, or a credit to your account (excluding freighting costs). Unfortunately, seven days after the dispatch of your product we are unable to replace or credit the goods. 2. Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is a high priority at Alliance Meats. To keep you up to date with specials, new products etc, we will retain your name, address and other contact details. Any information you give us will remain confidential to Alliance Meats and will not be shared with any other person or organisation. You have the right to inspect and update your details at anytime.

If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please email us at onlinesales@alliance.co.nz or phone us on 03 684 2140 between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday-Friday. We will action your request immediately.

Alliance Meats uses "cookies," which are small data files that are stored on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies enable you to shop on the website and may be used in a variety of ways to enhance or personalise your online browsing and shopping experience.

For example, Alliance Meats may use cookies to enable you to use certain website features, remember the items in your shopping cart, store your preferences, recognise you when you return to the website, track your orders, and monitor and maintain information about your use of Alliance Meats.

Whenever you shop through the Alliance Meats website we take every possible precaution to ensure that your transactions are safe.

You are an important part of our online community and we love your feedback, as it helps us provide you with the very best service.

There are a number of ways to contact Alliance Meats. These include:

You can speak with someone from our team between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays). If your call is unanswered, please leave us a message with your contact details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively, if you are contacting Alliance Meats from outside of New Zealand please call us on +64 3 684 2140. Please note we are unable to deliver product outside of New Zealand. However, we are happy to take orders from customers overseas who wish to have the product delivered within New Zealand.

Non-urgent enquiries can be emailed to us and we will reply to your email as soon as possible. Please contact us via phone for any urgent enquiries.

5. Cancellation Policy

Please note Alliance Meats is not obliged by New Zealand Law to provide a refund if a customer has changed their mind, so please choose carefully.

However if you do, please contact us as soon as possible on 03 684 2140 and providing we can intercept the goods before they are dispatched with the courier, we will happily exchange the products ordered for other Alliance Meats goods or a credit note.

 

Delivery & Pick Up Information

About Our Delivery Service

  • Alliance Meats partners with New Zealand Couriers to deliver all online orders and they are shipped from our Alliance Butchershop store in Timaru.
  • The shipping fee includes the cost of handling, packaging and courier fee. Shipping fee’s increase with weight. Note the packaging material is included in this weight.
  • All chilled products are vacuum packed to seal in the freshness and protect the product throughout transit. Frozen product remains in its tray or bag. Your products are then packed along with ice packs in a polystyrene chilly-bin and then taped up and clearly labelled. Once packed your bin will remain chilled throughout transit which means your product always arrives in perfect condition.
  • Delivery days are Tuesday – Friday (with the exception of public holidays).
  • If you are unable to be at home to receive the delivery either have the delivery sent to your workplace or provide us with instructions of a safe place on your property for the courier to leave the parcel. Please bear in mind we cannot accept liability for any product where you instruct us to leave the parcel without signing for it.
  • Rural Deliveries are not available due to transport issues however you can have your parcel delivered to a NZ Courier Depot / Agent and you can collect it from there. Please refer to the shipping options on the website for details.
  • Delivery to your door is only available in urban centres,
  • Please note due to the nature of fresh meat products they are subject to availability and may take up to 7 days to fulfil your order however in such cases you will be contacted by the butcher shop directly.
  • In addition please note that if you live in a locked gate community or have a dog we cannot deliver to your door please select your nearest NZ courier depot.

About Our Click & Collect Service:

Alliance Meats has a pick up option available from the following site:

Please contact the store prior to pick up to confirm shop operating hours.

 Just place and pay for your order before 9am Monday to Friday and your goods will be available for pick up two business days after the day of order. Alternatively if you wish to pick up another day please email us at onlinesales@alliance.co.nz

To arrange pick up simply check the “Click and Collect from an Alliance store” box in the shipping information section during checkout, your shipping and packaging costs will be voided.

Our Guarantee:
